“The Atlantis hotel is in need of renovation, as it looks very outdated. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The male staff members at the reception were consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming. The hotel needs staff who genuinely understand the importance of hospitality and guest service, which was clearly lacking during my stay. Finally, the hotel is significantly overpriced for the quality of its facilities and the level of service it provides.”

They sent a technician twice to address the hot water issue, although it was never fully resolved. This place is not really suitable for five people unless you're comfortable being very cramped. The double sofa bed felt like sleeping on plywood, and the twin bed was simply a mattress on the floor. The hot water was unreliable and depended on the pilot light staying lit, so showers were hit or……

“Appartement was oud en gedateerd. Het kooktoestel blijf aan staan wanneer je de knop uitdraaide, wat erg onveilig is! Alleen door de gaskraan op de leiding zelf uit te zetten ging de pit uit. Verder zaten we een ochtend zonder stromend water. Daarnaast viel de geiser van de douche regelmatig uit waardoor de douche koud werd en het was niet heel schoon. Een renovatie is dringend nodig. De locatie vlakbij Copacabana was wel goed en ook de wasserette beneden was handig.”

“O apartamento é mto bem localizado, em rua tranquila a uma quadra da praia. Ele é bem pequeno e da parte boa, tem uma boa cama, um bom chuveiro e um bom ar condicionado. O sofá cama é péssimo, impossível uma terceira pessoa dormir lá. O apartamento tem janelas para uma espécie de foço de fios, e fica ao lado de uma janela (interna vizinha), que é péssimo, pois logo cedo vc escuta conversas altas de vizinhos. No final, para duas pessoas vale a pena ficar lá, para mais pessoas não indico.”
